Street photography encompasses a wide range of genres, and this week we'll be exploring the town at night.

At this meetup, we will practise the basics of shooting in a dark environment as we capture candid images in an urban setting.

By the end of this event, you will be more familiar with:
- How to adjust camera settings for low light.
- Using slow shutter speeds to get brighter images and create light trails.
- Capturing RAW images.

Surgery is an amalgamation of art and science, and with that definition I have been an artist for 30 years. I had to stop operating last year due to physical disabilities, and needed a new medium for artistic expression. I have been so inspired by the amazing artist in Charleston and so moved by many of the marsh paintings in the local galleries. I started oil painting and waking up early to photograph sunrises last year. The reference photo for this painting was taken at oyster point in Mt.

An old friend of mine who I graduated high school with over 20 years ago had reached out to me. Her sons best friend Dylan had passed away in a tragic accident several weeks ago. They were inseparable. My friend would always comment how talented I was until one day she had reached out and asked if I would be willing to draw a portrait of Dylan for his mother. I was honored she would consider me worthy for something like this. Dylan attended a private school and was a heart felt warm loving child

Title or Location: Eyes of the world
I saw this little boy on TV on the news. The news told about the consequences of great destruction due to the war in one of the eastern countries. They pulled him out from under the rubble of his house, he was dirty and scared. And I saw his eyes, which reflected fear with all the pain in the world. This boy seemed to me a symbol of children who suffered from various troubles on earth, such as war, earthquakes and other disasters. At that moment, I was sitting at home in Ukraine, in Odessa,

This colored pencil drawing was completed on Pastelmat as part of a weekly live draw program ?Artclub? provided by The Bonny Snowdon Academy. She is a world renowned colored pencil artist, teaching hyper realism. It?s amazing to create art from the same reference photo as multiple artists but have a unique drawing with each person?s style and perspective. I lived in the highlands of Scotland for 3 years so learning to draw this big fella was a 360 life moment for me. I am constantly growing by i

This painting depict a garden of winter white blooms. Soft edges and beautiful greens makes it comforting. Coming out of my imagination, as I don't have a garden of winter beauty only desert dryness. I find joy in these blooms of winter white. I hope the beholder of this painting feels the tranquility of it.

It was a day out at Culross a very picturesque historic town in Fife. Because of the olde ye appearance it has featured in the TV series Outlander and the film of the book Kidnapped written by Robert Louis Stevenson?s. The whole place is photogenic. I had a thought about all the artists and photographers that have graced the its streets and it must be in thousands. I wonder how many have ever produced a rendering of the oil refinery on the other bank of the Forth.

Clouds fascinate me, constantly changing shape and color. This painting is of the front pasture with a dash of artistic license. The willow tree towers in the middle of a wet weather creek and begged to be painted.(There is no box for my website, so I hesitated to input it, but would appreciate a mention if allowed....FeliciaLWhite.com. Thanks.)

I love painting little creatures. I have been a working artist all of my life but never had the chance to perfect my skills in artistry. Now that I am retired, I find myself painting something every day with acrylics, watercolors, and or inks. I started painting on terracotta pots, then started making my hand-crafted paper to paint on, and then to tea bags and now painting little ornaments. My friends say that I paint on anything but canvas. This is true!

When I started this painting , I was talking to a friend of mine who said that my paintings were a mixture of real and surreal. I grew up an avid reader, and read every book they had on fantasy and Greek Gods and Goddesses.. I feel imagination keeps us young, and I?m still looking for the leprechauns in my forest&128513
